[powerpress]
Richard spent 10 years in the armed forces ultimately leaving as a major. He was then thrust into the corporate as a corporate executive at the Vice President & Director level. He was always surrounded by great leaders and becoming a great leader himself.
His passion project is his podcast “Dose of Leadership” a podcast where he interviews his leadership heroes. Richard shares how he came up with the idea and got started. Also, the long term affects it’s had on his sales as a coach and speaker. He’s interviewed everybody from Steve Forbes to Ken Blanchard
We focus on this topic of leadership and some topics that go along with it:

  • Leaders still feel fear and doubt (see Steve Forbes)
  • The common mistakes leaders make
  • The themes he sees when coaching C level executives
  • The importance of setting goals and envisioning yourself 10 years out. (“what does your DVD look like”)

We talk about the prominence of limiting beliefs. And what Richard walks people through to overcome these.

“Every interaction you have with a human being, with your spouse, kids, closest friends, cachier at the gas station, is an opportunity for leadership”
